TikTok pays creators in several ways. This tool covers two: the Creator Rewards Program, which pays on views of original videos over 1 minute, and LIVE gifts, where viewers buy coins to send during a stream. Other income, such as commission on product sales, follows real sales and is not covered here.
Creator Rewards has requirements set by TikTok: age 18 or older, at least 10,000 followers, at least 100,000 views in the last 30 days, a public personal account, and a location where the program is available. The country list changes, and the list found in this check did not include Thailand, so check the TikTok app before you plan around it.
TikTok does not publish a rate per 1,000 views, and it varies by country, content quality and audience engagement. The low, mid and high values here are assumptions based on what creators commonly report, not TikTok figures, which is why every field is editable.
LIVE gifts start as coins that viewers buy. Creators receive diamonds and can withdraw cash under TikTok's terms. The defaults are 2 coins per diamond and about US$0.005 per diamond, taken from secondary sources and not published by TikTok. At those defaults a creator keeps roughly a quarter of what viewers pay.
